3D Realms to Shut Down

A very reliable source close to Duke Nukem Forever developer 3D Realms today confirmed to Shacknews that the company has been shut down.
The closure came about as a result of funding issues, our source explained, with the shut down said to affect both 3D Realms and the recently resurrected Apogee name. Employees of both entities have already been let go.
Phone calls and e-mails to various 3D Realms veterans have thus far gone unanswered, with publishing partner Take-Two likewise unavailable for comment.

Some other company will probably pick it up, and screw it up. The game even had a "trailer" (if you'd call it that, it was just a dumb pre-render).
If they released Halloween Harry with updated graphics on XBL, they would make enough money to finish development on DNF.
The following is a statement from Deep Silver and Apogee Software regarding the Duke Nukem Trilogy
Deep Silver and Apogee Software are not affected by the situation at 3D Realms. Development on the Duke Nukem Trilogy is continuing as planned.

Maybe with 3dR out of the picture, DNF will actually come to fruition?
I always like the hot babes from DN3d
What a joke. They should have released each version of DNF as they went along.
I mean, that's basically what Quake, and Unreal Tournament did.
