God destroys man's PS3 with dust

According to Ive's story, he sent in his faulty system to be repaired, only to be told that his warranty had been voided by the massive amounts of dust that had accumulated within the casing.
When asked what part of the warranty says that a dusty system cannot be replaced, his helpful customer service representative told him that dust collection could either be considered customer abuse, or an act of God.

lol have you ever looked at the front of a PS2 i blow the inlet out with a can of air, as for my PS3 its behind the glass of the entertainment center, not too dusty thats were the XB360 sits as well. Not like my brother who keeps his PS3-360 on the floor and its just covered in cat hair and dust.
He should have gotten a 360. Microsoft has the 360 replacement program down pat. they kind of have to when 10% of your product is faulty...
Hay I knoez! 2 years worth of dust in a ps3 in less then a year seems like the dood needs to fucking dust once in a while.. I bet his house smells wonderful. Name one company where you can send a fucking dust laden electronic device in and have it replaced..
as for 360, please, do not try and compare the two. Do a google on all the horror stories on 360 returns and compare notes. You guys really need to get off Sony's cock, 3 pages worth of "LULZ WE HATEZ SONIESZ" on the front page is a bit retarded...

Thus them granting extended warranties to their consumers.

I've heard people sending back xbox's with the warranty seal broken, and still getting replacement xbox's. So something changed by the complaints of the consumers.
Maybe sony should start looking at microsoft and say to themselves " hey we want to avoid what those dumbs dumbs did so we don't have to loose our customer base on our already fragile market"

It looks like he buried the thing and then unearthed it. Sony isn't refusing to work on it because of 'dust voided warrantee' they're refusing to work on it as 'dust may be unhealthy for the technician'. Imagine the fucking dirtbowl that'd erupt out of that thing if you take a can of compressed air to it
