Submitted by: OtakuMark @ 11:05 PM | Friday, June 22, 2007 | (url: http://planethalf...)

"Beginning in July, Steam users can set up their own personal Steam pages and profiles, create and join groups, schedule games with friends, review who they've played with, see how well everyone played, chat with groups, chat via voice, and more. These new community services and features can be used with all Steam games, which include new releases and classic titles from leading publishers and independent developers."

I really don't see the point, on the Xbox it is needed because there is no other way to get in touch with people, but on the PC?

So does the friends list work properly yet?

I think it's mostly to deflate windows live, which could be competition. Not that it needs any deflating, MS do that fine by themselves.

Steam Rules.

If they had some kind of global way to track kills in games like CS, that'd be completely awesome.

Man, we should get a tw group going. That'd be nice seeing where everyone is, outside gametiger crap.
