Sony loses patent case against Immersion over Playstation controllers

Sony will be paying out $150.3 million to Immersion Corp. Apparantly the software that Sony used to control the haptic "rumble" feature in the Playstation 2 controllers infringed upon a patent owned by Immersion.

they lost the patent case along time ago, which is why the ps3 didnt have it.The only differance now is that sony is willing to pay to use it.
