Liquid Metal-Based CPU Cooler

The LM10 is a liquid metal based CPU cooler that combines liquid metal with an electromagnetic pump. It is claimed to be the worlds best performing air-cooler and have cooling capabilities that exceed those of most water-cooling systems.
The liquid metal is a key component in Danamics cooling systems. Liquid metal has two major advantages when cooling high power density heat sources: Firstly it has superior thermo physical properties that decrease temperature - and temperature non-uniformity - on die and across chips. Secondly, the electrical properties of the liquid metal enables efficient, reliable and ultra compact electromagnetic pumping without the use of moving parts, shafts, seals, etc.

thats practical :|
did you read the article? it is in fact quite practical, and can be made compact enough to be used in laptops. this was really the next step from heat pipes and thermoelectric coolers anyway, as the next best options tend to cost way to much for the performance they give to be worth it to the masses.
This would be slick, to have a vent less, higher performance laptop. Heck, you could make it water proof if you wanted.
...didn't they come out with this shit like 5 years ago??? Took long enough to get it into production.
Am I the only one worried about sticking a big electromagnet right in the middle of my PC?
Is she REALLY that popular that every time she checks into hospital or rehab (which seems like every other day) that it is big time news?
