Google adds decorative themes to site

SAN FRANCISCO - Sprucing up its famously plain Web site, Google Inc. is offering a new option that plants its Internet search box in panoramic settings that change with the time of day and the outside weather.

I tried them. They look nice actually and fit in well with the artistic style of the Google logo. I'll be sticking with the plain old white background however.
Using cityscape or whatever. It's slick, and it doesn't stick out at all, which is nice. It's very Googleish.
My laptop is still set to the plain, non-customized google.ca to speed up loading though.

i thnik the bus stop shows rain in the logo when its raining in your city too .. pretty cool
