Tesla has coast to coast coverage with super charge stations now

Submitted by: Goshin @ 09:22 AM | Wednesday, January 29, 2014 | (url: http://watchplayr...)

You can drive from west to east for free if you own a Tesla S
takes 30 minutes to charge 170 miles, so stopping every 3 hours. I guess it'll keep you regular for bathrooms and food.
They plan on having EVEN MORE stations by 2015.

[qoute]The Model S is known to have an operating range of 265 EPA certified miles, 170 of which can be recharged (for free mind you) within 30 minutes of being plugged in. This means that essentially every pit stop that you take on your road trip allows time to recharge and stretch your legs while not costing you anything in gas. Right now, there are 71 stations active and is now possible for you to travel from one coast to the other via the network of charging stations.

By 2015, Tesla plans on having 98% of the United States covered with access to the power stations[/quote]

"The much anticipated release of NEOTOKYO, the Source total conversion set in a realistic future of Japan, is finally here!"

"NEOTOKYO takes place in and around a fictionalized Tokyo approximately 30 years in the future. Mankind has begun to fuse with technology. Government and corporate corruption have transformed Tokyo into a deadly dystopian nightmare. After a near-successful military coup by ranking members of Jinrai, the National Security Force (NSF) is formed - answering directly to the Prime Minister, it's mission is to investigate and eliminate all threats to Japan, both abroad and at home. The initial core of the NSF is made from an exodus from within the intelligence branch of the military. With this betrayal begins the war in the shadows between the NSF and Jinrai. "

Steam Update Adds In-game Web Browsing

Submitted by: Beren @ 06:47 PM | Wednesday, January 14, 2009 | (url: http://www.shackn...)

Now we can browse TW ingame within Steam games. This is kinda handy for a very low effort extension to the Steam platform as so much of the platform uses IE to load the content. There are a bunch of bug fixes in the update as well, but not much else.

Submitted by: KnightMare @ 01:17 PM | Monday, September 29, 2008 | (url: http://storefront...)

As a part of our continuing efforts to support the MOD community, we will begin hosting selected MODs directly on Steam starting next week. The first five MODs to ship on steam will be Age of Chivalry, D.I.P.R.I.P., Insurgency, Synergy, and Zombie Panic. As always, owners of any Source game will be able to download and play all of these MODs for free.

Once installed, these MODs will appear in your "My Games" list and will receive automatic updates just like other games on Steam. Also, these MODs now take advantage of Steamworks, which provides stat tracking and tighter integration with the Steam community.

Valve Announces Steam Cloud

Submitted by: KnightMare @ 06:55 AM | Saturday, May 31, 2008 | (url: http://arstechnic...)

Gabe Newell spoke about PC gaming and announced an exciting new feature for Steam. You see, your personal computer may become the least important part of your PC gaming experience. Steam Cloud hopes to keep everything from your purchased games, to your saved game files and control configurations, on a central server so you can log onto your account from anywhere and pick up exactly where you left off; you won't even have to invert your mouse.

No one in the PC gaming industry has ever tried to create something as ambitious as Steam, and Valve seems to want it all for its service. Blazing this trail means missteps and odd choices, and it's possible that Steam Cloud may be more useful than it at first appears.
