[LOL] Canadian landlord fined $12G for not taking shoes off in Muslim tenant's home

you're pretty stupid

many businesses, if not most, are started by taking out loans

whether he can afford the fine or not is irrelevant--it never should have been levied

stop being obtuse... or can you

most businesses also produce something or offer a service. being a landlord is sitting on your ass in the bank's house paying bills with someone else's money

there's an old wall street saying: a landlord is just a welfare recipient with 20k to burn

lol...honestly dude I expect to see that kind of millennial crybaby shit on reddit, not here

it does suck, but whoever told you life would be fair? CREAM dolla dolla bills y'all

signed, your evil landlord

ur readin the wrong subs man, it's all angry libtards [libertarians] where i am

neway point is only thing a landlord is good for is spending other people's money, who are they, the federal government

you're right, landlords/property managers are pieces of shit and they should all quit

then no one can rent and everyone will have to come up with the money to purchase their dwellings

So does this mean that any Canadian can access the HRC? Or just Muslim Canadians and unionistas? Can the average white Canadians use this service?

Until recently, I just thought it was for aggrieved civil service unions and other's performing bureaucratic duties who may have been inconvenienced and are seriously aggrieved. And sad.

PTSD so sad. A weak kneed low self esteem 'victim' now enjoy hero status and a cash reward for the 'agrievement.' It seems the squeaky wheel does get the grease. What next? Maybe legislated Time out Safe spaces at Yuks Yuks?

What a fukn joke our legal system has become.

I'd just like to thank the father of Justeen one Pierre Trudeau for bringing us "human rights." :fu: It seems though we have fewer rights now than before

of course the average white can use the HRC

they just have to be lgbtqhiv+

otherwise you aren't a real person

and don't get first class civil rights protection +

sorry Canada

So you're for limited 'free' markets since the whole idea of capitalism is to provide something people want for an agreed upon exchange.

Not to mention Property Rights. How dare someone own property, why it should just be the Commons.

Very insightful.

Not just "lgbtqhiv+" any bureaucracy has preferential access to the HRC, (y rly) as a matter of fact iirc for the first two years not a single non civil service employee even had a case heard. So it was all about one bureaucukracy backstratching another bureaucukracy to leapfrog benefits that private sector employees can only dream about.

Aside:
My neighbour had a fat guest that had a heart attack. Because it was discriminatory for the gov't to list physical capabilities like being able to lift fat people unto a guerney, skinny tiny females are hired as EMT's. So when a call is placed to dispatch an EMT ambulance the 911 responder asks if a fatty is involved in which case a firefighting truck and crew are also dispatched - it is they who will lift the fatty unto the guerney.

Such is the way of an economy working and serving the needs of gov't. But fortunately attractive and slim females can work as EMT's and are not discriminated against.

It's all about human rights bro, being able to do the job is a secondary consideration. :psyduck:
