[Hacked] Question about format

i just emailed in my id/paperwork shit to blizz, anyone know the timeframe this shit generally works out in?

I did it on a monday night and my account was restored the following monday @ around noon. I also ordered the authenticator the same day and it arrived the same day my account was restored.
 
I'm wondering if there's any chance blizz makes these mandatory for Cata? when you buy the expansion, you get an authenticator with it.
 
the authenticator sounds like a pain in the ass. id rather just not be a computer retard as opposed to having to rely on some lame piece of plastic that just makes it harder to log in.

anyways the answer to keyloggers has always been replace passwords with a pin # and put a bunch of numbers on the screen in a random order that you have to click on with your mouse. that way no one is going to steal your shit unless they install fraps on your machine and download and watch 500 gigs of videos every day.
 
ive played wow since release and i've never even seen a phishing email. christ jesus you guys must be bad at wow if you can't even handle the responsability of keeping your password safe

Except that if they've compromised your system they can just read the information before it's sent and not care about what you clicked.

Oh, and the fact that you can be compromised by a flash ad that you don't have to do anything but load.

mine was compromised today. complete BS, i've narrowed the actual culprit to an ad on world of raids, even though i use noscript and adblock religiously

the fact these people are using the authenticator to steal accounts is hilarious
