I have a disc bulge (ladies love it) where a disc presses on my spinal cord and causes back and leg pain. Did 4 weeks of PT and is much better with continuing exercises (no meds).
I get a muscle spasm ( that makes it sound no big deal) in my lower back on the right.
It drops me. I can't even move. I have found though, I can force my muscles to relax and I can make it go away now. I used to couldn't and I would cry like a little girl
