[Star Wars] Solo

Unless they're smart and just rip off some of the supposedly good SW books.
 
I would hope they do something like that. Not sure if that is what Disney is looking for though as they are trying to churn out original stories.
 
I get their desire to state that the books aren't official anymore, but that doesn't mean you can't use them as a launching point. Similar to how Marvel is using many comic arcs for their film universe, but not doing exact copies. Take a good story, refine it a little, make it film friendly and go with it. There are like 400 SW books, even if only 5% are worth a shit that's still 20 movies.
 
o so they didn't even write one, they just tore up flowers for algernon and stuffed it into a tv script w/ toe knives and hoooures
