Hah. They were complete **** the lot, but I do miss that game. I always wanted to be a rockstar capper. Turned out I was way better at LD. Which was to say I was still **** compared to most.

Well I made it back. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Stayed at the Radisson Blu Aqua. Suite was great. One of the most comfortable rooms I've ever been in. We went to the Royal George Theatre and saw the play Late Nite Catechism. Nice little comedy.

Next night we saw Hamilton at The CIBC Theatre. I'm not a huge theatre fan but it wasn't terrible to sit through.

Had pizza from Pequods Pizza in Lincoln Park. Good pie.

We hired a car and driver for our time there. No matter how hard I begged he wouldn't take me someplace where I might see a shooting. His gratuity was reduced because of this.

Said good bye to one of my best friends for the last time. You would be hard pressed to find a better guy to share a fighting hole with.

All in all I would say the trip was pretty decent with the exception of not seeing a shooting or hearing gunfire.

LOL...no he was the guy that helped me get her out. That really sealed the friendship.

It's weird you mention this. It was the last story we shared before I left...now some ****er is cutting onions in here...

Pequods is good pie. That's my choice when i'm in town and want chicago style. I usually just end up at Big Star Taco drinking good bourbon at a surprisingly reasonable price or Local Option for a couple pints.

Sorry about the lack of gunfire action - real tourist draw that, but I'm glad you had a good time.

Ahhhhhh Peqods. Something about being at the center of the meatpacking industry makes all toppings on Chicago pizza better than anywhere else.

When I was in college a girl I dated always brought two large pizzas on the airplane whenever she flew back. I said "pizza, git in mah belly." ***128516;
