ok so once upon a time the internet was like this new open unclaimed land, right? And somewhere along the way this town popped up, it had cool games and lots of girls (lol ya rite) and it was called...tribes town. Tribes town had some things no other town had, or ever had, and a roboust community established itself there. just like with any town, the many faces brought many bars. This story is about one bar in particular, the tribalBar.

you see, tribalBar was created because the other popular bars were run by dictator-type assholes. Here in America, where we're better than the poor Chinese/Mexican/African laborers we see on tv, we believe in freedom and liberty for all. And since for whatever reason the bars in Tribes town didnt have much freedom or liberty, TribalBar was created for the express purpose of providing an open space for the community to gather and discuss.

Then again, this is an old story about an old place. It was inevitable that newer towns with better attractions sprung up, and soon entire highways directed people to places that didnt even pass by tribes town. Ask someone who grew up in a town around a steel mill, or auto factory, and they'll tell you what tribes town is like now. Its not the same, but really what is? The point of this story is, if tribes town isn't the same, why do we still run tribalBar in the same way?

Tribalwar does not need to be an open platform for any drunk ******* to **** on. It can be an open platform for any drunk ******* to **** on, and maybe at one time it needed to be, but does it still need to be? How many more insane/drunk posts and threads do we have to see on the main page until we too are convinced this place simply isn't worth visiting?

I propose the following:

1. limit general discussion to members only
2. get rid of members only forum, general discussion replaces it
3. create some new spam forum for chinese bots/whoever isnt registered
4. limit registrations to invite-only
5. give more power to members and let lord of the flies play itself out
