True story Jive is from demo and was in 5k but I kicked him out because he was super young and crazy needy (every day he wanted to duel me until he could beat me and then compliment his MAs etc, very annoying). A year or so later I was in full and dueling some random named "Jive" who kept spamming to duel me and he explodes on me and explains who he is etc. He was much better but I could still take him, I think it was 6-4 or something(although it might have been due to rage setting in). Shallah and snow are two of the best ground-grenners I've seen really, as well as Suckypenny/rabidleper (whichever one dueled, I get the names confused all the time somehow :shrug: ).

Dare if you want to know what Shallah is like, here is my first PM ever, from Nov 2000 from Shallah after we had a disagreement while dueling:

cheats or no cheats the guy is a beast of a player and really fukin good chase/stand d

i do not think he is cheating in that hb demo now it is all definitely possible without cheats

the weird part is that even if all those ppl listed were complete hackers i would still prefer for them come play tribe regularly so that we could have more gg rather than having to play with the mediocre hackers that regularly play now

also interesting that although that list includes some doods i do not think hack proving andrews methods were probably bad he still was maybe 6/13 correct

interesting bc u could maybe make a list accusing 20 random lt player at any era and just by chance be correct about maybe 5-8 of them hacking

when i got put on this list i was emailing andrew back and forth getting him to help make lasthope work with shifter and testing it. lh could not even work with arena let alone shifter at the time so we needed help getting it set up.

i logged into a base server 3 times in the span of a few minutes exiting and reloading tribe with the bypass to check if it was even working cuz ppl had made posts about it being fake

i was not puing or pubbing base at this time but i had before (i went to play a season of some shifter revival tourney)

and that got me put on that list

and supposedly many ppl got edited out of that list or warned it was coming out by nonreg tho i dont think this happened 2 an extreme degree maybe 1 or 2 ppl

they collected that list of ppl over the span of a month or two

so it really goes to show how few ppl were cheating back then at least with the nofix bypass

this is 1 of the main reasons y i think cheat accusations are over blown

ya non was a pretty huge cheat enabler

icehawk and moneyshot was blatant hacker in late ren comp and of course hacked in lt and they were nons buttbuddies who he protected

im sure there are plenty of other example bc by the time non get any power in lt he had an established practice of allowing/looking the other way/protecting any hacker who was going to benefit him by playing on team w him or being internet friend with him
