so i figured having a dedicated cycling thread would be better than us junking up the 'what you did today' thread constantly.

here are some pictures from my last event, the horrible hundred

top of the biggest climb of the day at around 80miles in

descent from buckhill, think that was about halfway through ride

my form seems really strange on the first picture, but i think its because i was tired of climbing

in other news, garmin-cervelo released a sneak peak of their new jerseys 2011 Short Sleeve Jersey - 2011 Apparel
can't wait to see the rainbow jersey in argyle, going to look so cool

Got tons from the race and quite a few I found that the photographers along the way took.

But this is my favorite. It was a random crowd shot that I was apparently walking back from and noticed my gf had the camera aimed in my direction so I snarled. So I cropped it and it's now awesome.

Also if anyone is looking for jerseys/bibs/shorts etc go now while you can.

I prefer to not look like a walking advertisement for a team that I will never be good enough to compete with as much as I may admire the dedication of said professionals and/or the gear they ride.

On the flip side I prefer to look like a badass with skulls and affliction style graphics to show that while I wear tights I'm like still a bro you know?

Come see the softer side of Sears etc.

im not familiar with primal wear but i like the armed forces kits for some reason.

i get a lot of the pro team kits not only because im a consumer whore but the materials are usually amazing. the saxo bank 2010 kit by sportif is more comfortable than my sugoi 200$ bib and probably uses half the material.

and bsnyc never makes a point, its all jibberish imo

bsnyc used to be decent but has degraded into rambling chains of inside jokes.

I wish there were more plain jersey options, I won't buy pro team kits and don't want to have giant logos plastered on me either. The engine and xray primal jerseys are just kinda lame.

I almost did that twice during H100.

Once while being pushed by the wind from center of the road to nearly the embankment while downhill ~41 mph which was scary as all hell on wet roads.

Another while coming around a turn, a car that was apparently going to pull off to the side of the rode while I was going to go into a SAG stop decided to stop in the middle of the road instead. My back tire did a complete ass end swipe nearly 180 degrees before coming back straight and luckily not planting me before halting heh.

It was pretty funny hearing a dozen people standing there nearly simultaneously say "holy ****" though.

Props on the hussle to get out of the way though. I am not looking forward to my first real crash ;[

Noticed on the trainer today that the stitching on my carbon-soled shimano tri shoes that I snagged for $100 is coming apart. >:[

So I think I'm going to sell my bike and get this one so I can get something that is fitted exactly to me and I won't have to touch anymore till I become obsessive and rich and can buy some $10k beast.

I went and took a look at the next model up, the B14 but the extra $800+ cost didn't justify the difference in the B16 for me personally.

Also some of those Wilier bikes are gorgeous. So damn expensive. Fourstar if you get a chance check out Chain Wheel Drive if you don't go there already. They are in Clearwater and Tarpon. Some sexy bikes in that place ;o

Anyway. Anyone here rock a Felt? This review in particular made me want to jump ship.
