did a race a few days ago

ran a 10k over a minute faster in 20 degree weather and rolling hills compared to one i did in october when it was like 50 or 60 and flat as a pancake

the body is weird

also my climbing partner just had a baby so i'm stuck solo bouldering since i don't want to autobelay

Off to do a trail half, supposed to be really sloppy. .lots of snow and mud. I'm using it as a training run and won't be competitive, but it should be really pretty.

first time in 4 months running more than once a week

it appears my motivation is somewhat back so hopefully nearing last summers mileage by the time it's nice outside again

I've got a nasty arch blister thanks to a big day in the mountains and a 13 mile run, so no running for a few days. And I might have a thing to go to where I couldn't run until March 1....might be a good recovery time before the final stretch.

After 4 months bouldering I sent my first 7a. Now after 5 months I did a second one. Did 6c top rope route a week ago. Too bad I started doing this **** as 35 years old. I might be a top climber now if I'd have started climbing when I was younger. Now I actually have to put out tons of effort to reach that point.

u know if u go 2 any gym and u look around

the biggest guys in the gym are the dudes who r putting in more volume than ne1 else

so many sperg hipster fitness gurus who do nothing but talk about training and programs and what not and this rep scheme is better than this etc etc... if they just went 2 the fukin gym, put in the work and lifted heavy for lots of reps and sets, they would get big and not go full asperg on the internet about fitness
