DH mtbing at Sol Vista was so fun. Group of 6 riding all day with zero crowds and absolutely perfect weather. I'm tired and gonna be sore tomorrow.

ok so the last couple of days have been cardio days

saturday
30 mins on elliptical
30 mins on bike

sunday (today)
30 mins elliptical
run 3 miles (just about 30 minutes )

didnt do anything yesterday except moving day

i'm contemplating a week off as i havent had one in 6 months and i feel like ive been overtraining lately

5x6 power cleans
4x8 upright row
4x8 narrow grip lat pull down
4x8 one leg squats
4x8 leg extensions
2x8 dips
15 mins core with med ball

Cleans are coming along nicely, I've refined my form a bit recently so my collar bone isn't getting battered and I'm lifting more.

decided to take the week off

i'll still eat decently but i've had a lot of things going on and i'm fighting off an arm injury so this is a good time to do it

it is currently circuit week, and I'm travelling so that works out. In Wichita woohoo, haven't had a chance to look at he hotel gym yet, but I think it's pretty nice.

Yesterday started the circuit

10 min elliptical to warm up
back flies
machine flies
seated row
pull up
dips
one arm tricep press (forehand and reverse)
preacher curls
squat
quad press
hangstring curl
leg lifts (weighted)
decline sit ups
back extension
then 30 minutes on the elliptical

hooray

yesterday, more circuit training, lat pulls, bench, shoulder press, curls, leg extensions, hamie curls and some cardio

today, I'm stuck in airports for like 10 hours :|

so nothing for me

5 miles walking. I think Glare and I are a little overtrained at the moment, and I'm going to screw around like this for a couple of days. Not taking the day off as in lay around all day, but will be taking it easier, like today.

i usually take a week off every 6 months or as injury dictates

i like the feeling i get as i get more and more stir crazy

it'll be fun to come back next week

So take your rest when you need it...your mind and body will both benefit greatly!

1) Weighted Roman Chair sit ups, super setted w/ ab wheel x 4 sets
2) weighted hanging leg raises, super setted w/ ab wheel x 3 sets
3) Rope crunches, super setted w/ ab wheel x 4 sets
cardio: 20min intervals on stairs

Night: shoulders / cardio
1)Seated db military press, supersetted with arnold presses x 4 sets
2)Upright rows, super setted with db up right rows x 4 sets
3) weighted dips x 4 sets
4) reverse grip military bb press x 3 sets super setted w/ side later raises x 3 sets
5) behind the head pull ups super setted w/ rear lateral raises x 3 sets
6) bb shrugs x 6 sets
cardio 20min jump rope
