First time cooking fish.

Brother caught a 31.5" striped bass in the long island sound today, thought I would give a shot at cooking it.

Overall It was a success, broiled it for a little longer than I would have wanted to, but the inside was perfectly done.

More to come, hopefully.

those are some serious butchering skills!

lol - sorry, I had to!

The key with fish is not to over cook it, but if you do, cook it till its nice and crispy!!!

the great thing about fish is if its fresh all you really need is lemon and pepper maybe some salt depending on the fish.

fish is an amazing canvas. incredibly versatile. beautiful bass! the "parts" is a hack job lol but that's ok - looks like a good fillet job tho. nice.
