there's a lot of strength building threads with nutrient related discussions but not quite as much for straight cardio enthusiasts. i searched but didn't quite find what i was looking for.

just wondering if anyone can recommend some vitamins/supplements that are great for cardio junkies. I run several miles a day, I eat pretty well, i make shakes every morning with oats/fruit/flax/skim milk and try to eat a decent amount of protein every day balanced with good carbs. wondering if there are any supplements I could take to maximize my results

i'm not a runner but make sure you're getting enough

Iron - helps with O2
Vit C - helps with recovery
Multi Vit every other day - Just good to have in general
Calcium - Helps with bones
Glucosamine & Chondroitin Sulfate - Join recovery aids
Omega fattys - helps with joints

omega fattys, u can get that from flax seeds too right?
