i duno winning on goal difference is retarded. i mean look at middlesborough playing a gutless man city, plenty of teams dropped points to man city back in november. the whole system isnt very balanced
 
i mean can you imagine in baseball or the NBA, at the end of the season or if a playoff series is tied they just say- well whoever scored more runs/made more baskets wins. every fan would write that off is ludicrous.

certain teams play more offensive styles than other teams. certain teams have 1-man bands. sigh
