...and it hurts like a mother****er. You don't realize how much you use that muscle until you have a pinched nerve there. It started in football like 4 years ago when I tacked some dude and he fell on my hip while I was lying sideways on the ground. I went to the trainer and they told me to just stretch it out whenever it started to bother me.

So I did that and it didn't really bother me for too long until just recently. Now even after I stretch it hurts like a mother****er. It's to the point now where I can't even move without flinching.

So what should I do? I know like half of you are doctors or physical trainers, so give me some advice.

I had a pinched sciatic nerve and it hurt something terrible, id see a real doctor they can prolly just shoot you in the ass with some cortisone or something along those lines or maybe go in there with a blade and move it to where it is supposed to be

had 3 cortisone shots in my back that did nothing at all, opted for surgery a few months ago and now I am 98% better

before it was so bad i couldn't walk without a limp, or sit through a movie or class without taking sick amounts of painkillers

today I played basketball, lifted some weights and went swimming with a slight pain when I did a leg press, best decision I ever made

Damn, I really hope it doesn't have to come to that but if that's the only thing that's going to fix it I guess I'm all for it.

How so? I guess because I don't really have any back pain? It's mostly in my ass and when it gets real bad it spreads throughout the rest of my leg.

yeah from how the explained it the pain radiates down from the source of the compression, for me it was my back and it was very noticeable
