Biggest surprise:
Why did AZ climb so high compared to last week? They played Washington, an unranked 2-5 team with a score of 55-34. A win, yes, but not exactly something to promote them 4-7 ranks over. Maybe one rank advancement at most. If anything, with all of the upsets, im surprised they didnt go drop a rank or two.

Also, my VT climbs 3 spaces, back into the Top 10, and we didnt even play this week. Nice. BC here we come

it's such a crazy time to be a boston sports fan right now

and my fucking alma mater is #2 in the country. hell, when i started there we were happy to play .500 football and whoop up on rutgers
 
college football rankings are such a joke

Kentucky for example has gone like 19 to 7 to 18 to 8 then back to 14 in the last 4 weeks or something. The numbers shouldn't spike like that.
 
So you're asking why a team that played and won moved up but you have no qualms when your team is idle and moves up 3 spots?
 
If VT would be so kind as to win out, and remove BC from my LSU Tigers NC spot, I'd appreciate it.

And having ya'll in the top 10 just makes us look better.

True, but i am not afraid of BC that much. Oh, it will be a tough game, but i am confident VT will win. The reason? Of its 7 games so far, BC has only played two good teams, Wake Forest and GT. Army, BGU, ND, Nc State, and Umass are jokes. I admit tho, VT schedule has not exactly been hard, for our only true opponent was Clemson at #22.

its widely acknownledged this this season has been upset-crazy. As such, they do upset on rank team and surge forward. Next week, another 2-3 teams upset an even higher team, and they surge forward, and other teams are moved down.

sry hoovie, bc is gonna have to win out here buddy... you'd be better served rooting for an OSU loss

edit: not afraid of BC? This same team beat you last season with a worse coach. You should be fucking terrified of BC.

i guess USC just has to beat AZ state in a few weeks :]
 
They moved to 8 after beating Washington. They moved to 4 after all the upsets this week. Of course they'd move up by default.
