i might compete, i don't know

i do it because i enjoy it. i don't think i would be able to dedicate the necessary time to training in order to compete at a high amateur or professional level, though. keep in mind i still work 50 hours a week or so, 5 days a week.

weekends are the best, cause if we got a guy with a fight coming up, it's just fight fight fight all afternoon to build up endurance

i've had one amateur fight, and won it, but it was more or less a low-level fight. i've seen some crazy amateurs that could easily fight at pro level, so i'm not sure if i want to put the time (and to risk my health) in competing at that level

Elbow pushups doesn't mean pushups on your elbows
I just name em that cause i don't know what they are called. It is the one where u do a pushup and then u bring ur elbow back and repeat for other side.

blazindave,

Do some heavy benching. You wont look bulky at all and you will be able to do a ton more pushups.

Like i said before, my friend can do 400 pushups in a row and he never does pushups. He just benches.

Dave, your picture just proved that your pushup only routine does not do any good. You need to add some serious muscle mass. And wtf is with the bag on your head, you captured by the taliban?

How does it not do any good? I havent done ANY exercise in two months, it is only normal they look small.
I wear the thing on my head because it felt weird taking a pic of myself with no top on to display to the internets.

He benches 355 and he doesn't look bulky at all. Hes 5'9 168lbs and cut to hell. We always start with 225 and go up from there. 5 sets of 5 on flat, 3 sets of 5 on decline and incline. We do 35lb flys 3 sets of 10 on incline and flat continuously no break (from bench to other bench total of 6 sets of 10) - It takes like less than 10 minutes and its a massive cardio workout. Lift till failure and eat like a pig.

Take a good look, your muscle definition looks like a 12 year old boy. If you haven't done any exercise in 2 months why do you spend so much time preaching your 800 different kinds of pushups retoric. If you're losing all your definition after only 2 months of not working out, then that is another issue. You look weirder with the tshirt on your head, then you would have if you didn't.

Listen to slut, lift big, eat big and you'll see results.

I dont spend time preaching my 800 pushups rhetoric. I just do not like to use weights. I don't do exercise like you to "look" good. I do it cause i enjoy it. Last thing on my mind is how i look.
Also, there arent any "no weights" exercise you can do that will make your chest bigger. Not that i know of.
Help me out then?
