trust me, there's a layer of fat around my stomach area that's preventing my six pack from showing. my abs are in pretty solid/toned shape.

No, that's obvious. I mean slim as in not a fatass. Your bodyfat % just isn't low enough for your abs to show.

^^^ Yeah following that is real fair.
I've been working out for about two weeks at this point and am basically a pasty, toneless blob. I plan on revisiting with another ****ty cell pic in a couple months.
I'm working on pretty much everything, focusing on building a chest mostly and getting some mass on my arms. My abs tend to tighten quickly, I just have a bit of fat to work off, especially on the sides.

6'1, 160 lbs (usually it's 156 though).
I don't have any before pics so I'll use these as a starting point (no digital camera, sorry). I'm trying to get bigger and have been eating as many calories as I can and a decent amount of protein (tuna, lean deli sammiches, power bars, chicken).
Can anyone tell me what they think my BF% is? BF calculator says it's around 18% or so, but I think it might be lower than that.

I REALLY wish I had taken before pics. I started at the end of Jan weighing in at 210 (6'). Used to be super super skinny, always played all sports, etc. in high school. Then started working from home and packed on the weight.
I then started swimming several miles/week and lifting. I dropped down to 180, and am now starting to put back a little bit more on lifting harder, increasing protein intake, etc. I fluctuate right around the 183-188 mark and am starting to get happy with my results! Would have been nice to compare the pics, as there is a huge difference already.
