I just got this laptop about a month ago..

Dell XPS Gen 2 (before you say anything about dell..)

It's got a gig of ram, a Geforce Go 4800 Ultra vid card, 80gb HD and a 2ghz celeron processor..

also.. six neon lights that I can change the colours of.. hahah

with it I got some 'personalization cover' (put pictures inside the case) and a pretty nice backpack for it, and a year 'super warranty'..

total cost was about $2900 CDN (total value is $4500.. but I managed to get it through one of their 'big deals' and then heaped my university discount on top of that)..

So like, what, $2500 US? ish.


I'm happy with it.. call me an idiot. ;P you think it's a decent deal anyways?

Are you crazy? Go get your numbers right.
 
Well, obviously.

But I figure I still got off good.. I've checked other computers and they seem to be same or a bit more pricey.
