It's really weird. Three of the Wal-Marts in my direct area all got an entire pallet of WoW (53 copies each store).
The store I work at sold out in a matter of minutes.
The second busiest store in the valley sold out in about a half an hour.
I went to the store that was just recently built in some neighborhood where all the rich people shop elsewhere, and I got my copy without any contest.
