but is it better than dark side?

hard to beat the 25 minutes of shine + wish you were here

dark side is complete album of own with time+great gig, us and them -> eclipse

i rate

1. wish you were here
2. dark side of the moon (close)
3. the wall

Dark side of the moon is by far the best floyd album. I mean the whole breathe part just roxors my boxors.

My favorite Flyod album is 'Obscured by Clouds' then 'wish you were here'

Best Song = 'Welcome to the Machine'

The Wall is great, but I don't feel it is as cohesive as wish you were here and dark side. Listening to the Wall through though, it leaves you in awe. Especially late 1st disc and 2nd disc.

This is Pinks Floyds worst album but I DO like the Bike Song

I think you can attribute that to the fact that the story line for The Wall is about 50x more complex than any of their other albums. That doesn't necessarily make it better but, for me, it helps.

When I talk about The Wall I refer strictly to the complete 'soundtrack'. The movie was okay but I think the soundtrack works better.
