this plugin will make all your weapons, players, stations, turrets, and all things shiny like in this video
i turn it on and off in this video, but the plugin im releasing here cannot be turned off, you just remove it if you dont want it. theres also a slight brightness difference when i toggle it, that doesnt exist in the released plugin, - there is no brightness change
the shading can go over gui elements. and its a little janky on the non-player objects (turrets, stations)
the pixel brightness of the object's skin determine how shiny each pixel is
there is a directional light source from the front that adds the white light. this direction is the same as the light source that already lights the weapons
there is another source in the opposite direction that gives a orange tinted back light, for added effect. you can mess with this lighting at will in the shaders directory files.
