Las Vegas is, by most people including people who live here, considered "West Coast". Is it cuz of location? Uh no. It's cuz of association, culture, and general social reference.

I don't see why everyone is giving Taxi the level of hate in this thread that they are (aside from the fact that people like to troll him a lot).
When people say east coast, the general reaction is to think about the northeast (ie: massachusetts, new york, etc).
When people say the south, they tend to think of certain southern states, including many that are technically on the east coast (ie: carolinas, florida, etc).
I'm no fucking genius, but I'm pretty sure east coast implies bordering the Atlantic ocean
