Yeah. I also want real solutions from real progressive leaders. Clinton isn't progressive and she's not liberal. I don't know how anyone who's a real liberal or progressive could have voted for her.

My side is just being dumb right now. Hillary didn't lose because of racism and sexism. The country isn't suddenly more racist or sexist and it's not Trump's fault. Peeps must not have been paying attention last night.

Hillary lost because the working class and middle class in the rust belt doesn't think she's good on jobs and the economy. That's why they went for Bernie in the primaries. They thought Trump was more likely to improve their economic conditions. Trade was one place where Bernie and Trump intersected, and it cost Hillary the election.

Hillary also took those states and voters for granted. She took the "who else you going to vote for" stand and didn't bother showing up. She assumed she was going to win because fuck you, labor and unions, toe the line and stop complaining.

Not everything is about race and gender.

Why not? The difference was less than 250,000 in a country of 320 million. There are more registered Democrats, but their turnout has declined by 9 million since 2008, while Republicans have stayed the same.

The notion that you're calling a 250,000 vote difference "winning" a popular vote just shows your hubris.

Here's a map that shows the final. See all that blue? Those are the gimmie my free stuff people who sponge in major cities. Look at Colorado for crying out loud. Only a few areas are blue, yet the population in those areas is huge (Denver), just like south Florida (Miami).
