Pima County GOP raffles off Glock in Gabrielle Giffords' district - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

This is sick, clueless and bordering on genius. The Arizona Pima County Republican Party is holding a raffle to raise money for their Get Out The Vote effort. First prize is a Glock 23 handgun. Pima County is served by Gabbie Giffords, the Arizona Democrat who was shot in the head with a Glock 19.

2nd gun added to Pima County GOP fundraiser raffle - Houston Chronicle

They are also now raffling off a deer rifle.
 
i guess actually it killed a bunch of someones, and almost gifford (who recovered in teXAS YAY TEXas)
 
I don't really give a shit either way, but you have to admit it's a bit tasteless for the opposing party to raffle off a gun in the county where the sitting congresswoman was just recently gunned down.

It's pretty tasteless that people still drive Ford cars after a Ford car hit and killed someone.

Too bad no one at the Giffords rally had a Glock 23 or a hunting rifle. It probably would have saved a few lives.

Actually it's not the same model. It's the same manufacturer; but a newer model.

And in addition to wounding 13 people, it did kill six people, including a judge and a young girl.

Actually there was a bystander at the rally who had a gun. He almost shot the guy who was holding Loughner's gun after he was disarmed.

Not at all; but in the district where the Democratic Rep was shot and multiple people died, instead of raffling off a Glock, how about raffling off some gift cards or a nice dinner somewhere.
