38 studios MMO in development "Copernicus"

Are there any bits on this lore released yet or were the concept art pictures the first news release?
 
Well, first we have Call of Duty: World at War (get it it's a World War lolol) and this time it's set in the Pacific theater and the Eastern Front!

Then we have Medal of Honor: Airborne! This time you get to jump out of plane before you shoot Nazis hooray!

i'll wait till I can see some ingame SS, and more info on where 38 is taking this mmo, PVE? PVP? RVR( oh wait), or something different, I really hope it's something we have yet to see yet from a MMO. Also mr Schilling, don't pull a flagship studios and fork over most of the cash you made into 38, video games are still very flaky.
 
Flagship had a toy / comic / book deal and had a publisher completely new to PC gaming, eventually co publishing it with EA and going through a lot of problems.. Obviously I sort of stopped caring about that game long before it came out but it was a little ridiculous having toy deals that early for a new IP.
 
Dac just got bitch slapped. Well said Gehrig. I always laugh when I see people talking about the gaming business and what they it takes to run one. I've been in the Industry for 15 years, the last 8 (8 years today actually) with the same company, and 98% of the people that talk shit about gaming and their development haven't a CLUE what it takes to make a game and support it from broth a CS and Technical perspective.

I don't understand the immediate "LOL FAIL" hostility.


Isn't this what everyone ultimately wants is games that break the mold and aren't held at gunpoint by the tyranny of big name publishers?


I mean, I hope for the absolute best if for nothing else than our benefit of being able to play a game that is fun and unique.
 
Anything that doesn't involve publishers sabotaging your game is definitely a good thing.
