My first home computer was an Apple IIc

Then we moved up to an Apple IIgs. It was pretty awesome and had 256 colors OMGOMG. Also, I remember playing the **** out of marble madness, zany golf, thexder, and a few other games on that thing. also, deluxe paint II!

and that was our last Apple. we graduated to real computers instead of toys. It was a 386 DX 33mhz with 8 megabytes of ram and I think a 60 megabyte hard drive.

and yeah, we had a 2400 baud modem and I got on local BBSs. I remember downloading Commander Keen one time, took me three days to download because I could only download 1 megabyte a day, and that megabyte took an hour to download each day

times have definitely changed.

A 286 my friend built for me as i watched.
Not with that computer but The thing I did before most any of you guys was have a voice and sound modem so that my friend and I could play Duke Nukem and talk at the same time over analog telephone lines. Was fun and expensive at the time.

Back then if you detached the cable and wiggled it around the connector you could sometimes stabilze the picture for a few seconds.

Also I have no idea what the specs were on my first comp. My father basically brought home old tech from his work, so we had a crapload of defunct outdated stuff for business but better than the home market stuff
