I had dogs all my life (st bernard, brittany spaniel, weimaraner).
Can't have one now since I live in an condo and I'm rarely home.
This is my first cat and even though I prefer a dog over a cat(because of the warmth and loyalty they share) I can appreciate what these little felines have to offer.

Just before Christmas my girlfriend and I adopted 2 cats. Hers is gay and sucks, while mine is awesome.
Being that my cat is so unreal he needed an awesome name. I present to you, Steve:
one day while watching a movie I heard someone playing the piano
He is incredibly food driven, so much so that I have been able to teach him a couple basic commands. He will sit the moment you ask him, but will also crawl into your dishwasher if you aren't paying attention
He is the awesomest cat I've ever met, although he has the personality traits of a dog
He greets me at the front door every day that I come home from work. Fuck you cat haters.

No, again you're wrong.
Both have completely different compositions. Like I said, whiskey and beer.
The only thing similar about them is they both contain alcohol and can be purchased in a bar.
Other than that they are wildly different drinks (animals) and trying to say one is better than another is a comparison completely without value.
Your beer-beer analysis was flawed from the very beginning.
The cats I have lived with during my life weren't pissy fucks aside from my brother's cat. My cat is very loyal and loves me. So does my dog. Anyone that says a cat isn't loyal has never had a cat kill a bird or a small rodent and bring the carcass to you. Both of my pets love to lay on my lap and also in bed with me.
I prefer cats over dogs because they're easier to take care of and less needy. I could leave my cat alone for a weekend and not worry about him since he's always got plenty of food and water and has a litter box. My dog needs to be taken out plenty of times during the day and also needs a lot of exercise.
If that is in reference to cats and dogs, I'm gonna go ahead and stop this conversation right now.
