terrain changing

how do i fix this? my old tribes didn thave this but new one has that terrain changing shit when u get closer to it.

also how do i remove NR's? it used to be a clientside thing
 
You shouldn't see any of that horse shit if you're using a 1.40 build. Anyways, try these in the console:

$pref::TerrainLODAmount = "0";
$pref::screensize = "1";

I can't remember the NR tweaks, sorry. Something to do with pft I think. Wait till someone with a brain responds.

Correct, you can also play with $Terrain::LODTerrain=false;
