i found out what is/was going on
the .exe installer for LT maps doesnt run right in windows 8
if you run it in compatability it still doesnt run right at all certain files that are in .zips dont get pushed into the base folder
i dont know why but its strange
you basically just have to take a base folder that already has it and manually copy all the shit
