TomTom is the green arrow in the middle of the screen (it points to where you should go) and the quest box is WoW-Pro Guides. It has Cataclysm guides built into it as well so I'm looking forward to that.

I haven't decided what UIs I am going to use and mods yet. Thanks for the thread... I'll be screwing around Sunday with it.

Interesting fact, I am going to be playing with Curse in WOW for Cata. Already helped them on a Beta test for a Raid mod that calculates DKP and has a built in bidding system. Very cool. Hopefully it will be ready for Cata.

Nice, went ahead and kicked Elk's to the curb. I've always preferred spell icons with timers (especially for mousing over w/ xperl to see if anyone is missing buffs or for debuffs) over a giant list of tiny ass icons and bars.

As a mage, all I use is xperl frames and decursive. Can't think of anything else I'd need.

Yeah anyone that uses X-Perl should switch to Shadowed Unit Frames. It's really the same thing, except it works, and looks better (you can configure it to look exactly like X-Perl which is what I did for my wife since she hates change lol).

Why leave X-Perl when it works just fine?

Pitbull + Satrina's Buff Frames and for raid frames, grid or vuhdo both of which can be customized for healing if your alt/main is a healer. Vuhdo is the better healing mod though.

Xperl is bloated and gross.

still working out the lua bits for more grid-like functionality of pitbull's raid frames.

Shadowed unit frames is excellent, and now that Satrina is updating his buff frames its good again as well.

does tidy plates still work for anyone? Or is there something better then that? Mine seem to have died.

Tidyplates works just fine... I use threatplates pack for it.

I use TidyPlates Threat Plates, and they work great

most mods have been switching to a broker output like Stat Block or something similar, or Titan. I prefer broker because you can set up things more to your liking, more customized than just having a bar.

That being said, I have shifted to RealUI, and I freaking love it.

My thoughts exactly. I kept everything the way it came, only added SCT/SCTD and a minimum Recount-type addon and I'm all set.

Only question at the moment is how to increase the scale a bit. I'm currently playing in 1920x1080 and most of the bars/buttons/font is way too small for my liking.
