as with all other crony commodity markets I'm sure someone will drive up meat so it can compete again

i figured we would already be seeing a lot of that by now

they went straight dust bowl great depression cow killing with some cattle farms during covid in many areas

no way i'm giving up beef in this lifetime even if i have to raise my own

I had the pleasure of spending around 3 months in Greece. Athens, the Peloponnese, Crete. While there, I fell in love with yogurt. I visited the yogurt/dairy shops in plenty of small villages.

When making yogurt at home, it's a bit like sourdough bread. You use a starter. The greeks have vats of the starter. It is unique to their location.

For any of you home yogurt peeps, I suggest getting some starters from around the world.

Look around and experiment.

Also, I really like sheep's milk yogurt. My favorite is 1/2 and 1/2 cow/sheep. mmmmm. Full fat milk is the best.

And, you have to let the skin form. It's the best part.
