mitch needs a time out like I give my 4 year old when he is acting out looking for attention. They do not know better until they are treated with calm discipline. I also do not let my 4 year old talk while in time out.
 
A dog wouldn't be able to tell the dog optician which one is better, #1 or #2. They would just bark, and end up with worse vision.
