[Config] Tribes 2 Config for New Players

This software is distributed as freeware and comes 'as is'.

This is basically a clean install with essential mappacks and scripts.
Interpolate is installed. Preconfigured. Net prefs are set 450, 32, 32 and other clientprefs settings.
Basically anyone can download this and start playing immediately and dont have to learn much about the game and what to add on to it to make it fun and/or be competitive.

Whats included:
ShieldRets, Multipolate, DsoCleaner, Freelook, PJJumpJet, speedhud (kph), pinghud, fpshud, UberFov, UberZoom, Votehud, TeamCount, Unreal Tournament Killsounds, kill sound, Support, Missile Lock Warning, Observer key, T1 voicepack, AutoDemoNames.
HDtextures 2.0, HDFlags, Flathuds.
TWL mappack, TWL2 mappack, S5 Mappack, S8 Mappack, ArenaMappack.

Binds:
Global Talk - Enter , Team Talk - Shift , Fov Rotation - + (the one next to backspace), Team count toggle - \ , Vote Yes - Insert , Vote No - Delete , Freelook - Left Alt , T1 VoiceBinds - B

Install:
Use the installer.
Install the included TribesNext Patcher (RC2a) which will start automatically after the initial installation.
Start the game with shortcuts on your desktop.
Login or Create an account with TribesNext.
Enjoy.

nice work.

I noticed in discord you said you had heaps of player skins downloaded - any chance you can zip them up. Might be good for my conversions to see other players in their preferred skins.
 
Choco, if you toggle the last character of your Dropbox link from 0 to 1, then it will act as a direct download instead.

This diversion was assembled particularly to support playing as groups. However as the diversion went on and families debilitated, the gameplay moved far from these modes. Players, in the end, started to change this diversion through different mods and modifications.
 
This is awesome thanks. I like to play naval combat, but I'm not so good at it and tend to auto-resolve sea battles in a campaign. Maybe now I will play them more. I also am reading Master and Commander, and having a good time. Vocab is murder though.
