This is telling bbrain that the number of views registered is 65535, not 65536. Slight correction, nothing major. Really, though, I'd like to know how many views this thread has received.

Now this post just sounds insulting. Come on, you know the order of operations in this situation. Exponents are solved before simple addition/subtraction (unless there are parenthesis). So 2^16-1 = 65536-1 = 65535. This makes Mister 3'6" incorrect. Use a lifeline next time.
 
crap, you know what's happened? the short integer that's counting views is pegged at 65,535 (2^16 - 1). at least it hasn't rolled over!
