Loco Hombre Off the Mexico

Yours looks like a 68 or 69. Have to get creative with the lines to go two tone, but not impossible.

It will not be a 'perfect' restoration. But we'll follow the lines above. light baby blue? (what it looks like to me) on top and orange on the bottom. Work to make the suspension/steering/wheels/tires robust and strong motor most important. functionality over all

Friends of mine had one of those back in the early 90's. was about the same colour so we named it Baby Blue.
They toured Australia in it, was awesome

split windscreen ones are $$$

I'm a little worried about Hurricane Lorena so I'm staying glued to the TV for updates.

The channel seems genuinely concerned.

I was going to stand the surfboards up nice and neat by the door, but needed to put rubber mats down on the floor...
'oh no you're not', says the wife
and without thinking says
hang 'em on the wall over there...
um ok

'Why are there 4 racks?' she asks, 'You only have 3 boards...david, david? you didn't tell me it was going to take up so much wall space'
hehehe

ayckshually u look like a hardcore enuff boomer that u can just help urself 2 whatever some stupid millennial leaves unattended while tweeting some deets 2 his besties. bystanders will think it's ur board.

i'm sure their parents have bought them some very nice planks that they aren't riding on. your wife will luv the savings, which u can spend on another rack that will need filling

The shortest board up there is a 5'9" but it rides like a 6'2"... new design stuff with blunt nose reduce tail... allows for the shortness... great stuff
- the colorful board is 6'9" and handles the big days
-the long board is for small days; gets into low nrg waves more easily
come paddle out Scooby

True story
I just said goodbye to a guy and his family (wife two cute 6 & 7 yr old boys) visiting/surfing Mazatlan
The first thing I thought was he reminded me a lot of ScoobySnack in looks and demeanor. A really great guy; works in San Diego on police swat team. Had a great time surfing and talking with him over last couple weeks; nerded surf guy that knew his stuff.

That is Boomin outta control

stick it to those Millenials and take what u need to enjoy yourself

ps. don't feel bad about that, you worked hard, even tried educating them, you earned it :sunny:
