Fraps' trial version has a time limit, 10 seconds or something for recording. Gamecam's does not have a timelimit but it won't record sound unless you buy it (though you can run a seperate program for that if you have the power).
After you get the video recorded, you probably want to use a program for editing and then encoding. Windows Movie Maker 2 is free
alternative you can use film.cs to capture the frames via tribes itself and assemble them with videomach (or something similar) to an uncompressed movz aswell.....
