spamming

waypoints caused nothing but trouble for t2 imo, t1 style wp's would be a much better choice i think. Also because i hate my play screen being cluttered up by on-screen wp's (i play in 800x600). You would never be able to get rid of general spam tho, people will just find other things to aim at. Only thing airpoints really do is making your job easier.

Also the main problem with super-precision spam is maps imo, mappers just need to put more attention to what's possible and what's not.

i think spam is totally gay. i'm just glad it was brought public instead of kept within a few certain teams.

the only reason i think spam is somewhat 'good' for t2 is because the fucking sensors and base turrets are nearly impossible to kill otherwise (in a match setting). there's not a great chance you can missile them down due to flare spammage, and sensors in particular cannot be taken down by a single player. when they have their own stand (like in surreal), you cant jump up there and throw a mortar next to it, so it's basically impossible to kill without a team effort or spam.

spam is gay, but it kinda balances out the relatively invincible sensors (and somewhat the base turrets too).
