I am in the hallway talking to someone, then go take a piss. Guy comes into the stall next to me and asks "oh, so you are in the Army?", I said yeah. "That's cool" he says. I ask "what do you do?" and he says "I made Tribes, my name is Dave".

Later that day he tells me his plan to make Tribes on a massive scale...

I remember suicidetaxi absolutely freaking out when a little nerf football hit his LCD screen. That guy was such a tool.

If I remember right, that's when we all got to get the classic mod for T2. Was the final patch debuted there as well? I kind of think they were linked together.

playing in my first match with GoD. someone gave me the flag to hold onto till ours was returned. i went on upper floor inside raindance base, barricaded myself with a solid stack of deployable platforms.

when our flag got returned, i started destroying platforms to free myself to cap flag, but before i got free, our flag was taken again, and heavies came in and killed me, cuz i was no longer protected, but still couldnt move or shoot.

i was immediatly kicked out of the server, my team was forced to forefit for cheating, and i was kicked from tribe. :/

In the summer of the year 2000, I remember playing the snipe trainer Rollercoaster map on a local host while I waited for the cable man to come install my "Surfboard" Adelphia one-way cable modem. I sat there thinking that I would become a total ace with 30 ping!

Instead, I got 250 ping and 20 packet loss. I pretty much stopped playing Tribes as a result.

This amused me so much one time I called his house at night, then kept refreshing TW until he made a post ranting about someone from TW woke his parents up because it was so late and this **** had to stop.
