I just skipped ahead on the xfinity.tv thing, but it was like, 5-10 minute chunks. I didn't actually watch them but for some stupid reason the ads were part of the actual show and not just put in every 15 minutes or whatever like most web streaming.

Not able to watch episode two yet.
All I have to say is that can they just come out and admit that you can't get infected by zombie's blood spatter? A few times they took precautions against exposing themselves to the zombie's blood spray, but recently it seems like they're just reckless hacking at will and getting the **** all over themselves.

Well they were asking "was he/she bit?" so a bite would mean certain infection but no noticeable concern about blood spatter.
I mean if the two guys covered with rotting zombie flesh with very likely a few open scratches on their bodies didn't get infected then blood splatter won't do it either.
The producers are hosting live Q&A right now and one has mentioned that it will get revealed what the blood and gore from zombies can/can't do to uninfected people.

kind of a ****ty episode. Everyone is pissing me off.
The only characters I like at the moment are Daryl Dixon and Dale. They're the only people in the group exercising any common rational sense.

If everyone were expert survivalists, it would be boring after awhile. You need people being retarded so you can be like WTF?

It's kind of funny how the hick we are sort of supposed to not like ends up being the only character that is likeable.

The comic is not really about zombies, they're just the device that is used to explore humanity under extreme conditions. The story could just as easily be taking place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, like Mad Max, or during an all-out World War, like Schindler's list.
edit: oh ****, i didn't realize this thread was 6 pages deep. doh!

the problem is i dont have much emotional attachment to the shot boy. His character didn't win me over very much. That, and it's kind of repeating itself again. "Need (variable). Sneak past zombies. Get stuck there!"

It doesn't make sense to me that the comics are both incredibly well written and very dense, and the writers for the show feel the need to stray from them. It's all there. Just take whats in the comic, and make it alive. It's simple.

Question is, did Heisenberg survive Z-day?
Walt needs to blow up some zombies, you know, to protect his family.
