I am absolutely in favor of a response for the use of chemical weapons.

..not unilaterally if it can be helped, and I think it will be a coalition of countries that end up responding. However if others lack the backbone I think a response must happen.

We do not want to let that genie out of the bottle.
 
I think everybody is in favor of a response.
A response can be anything from a statement of "That wasn't very nice, you guys," to economic sanctions, to a full ICBM nuclear attack of the entire region.

You're going to have to be a lot more specific when you say you're in favor of a "response."
