Essentially HiRez broke the whole balance of armor and so in an attempt to re-balance the game, they gave the heavy armor a more powerful disk.

Aaaaaahhh, dude! I just looted the purple Spinfusor of +7 Splash Damage, but it only works with the Level 99 Gaylord loadout. Should I just sell it on the auction house for 2 billion spacebux?
