My city. Rules.

Was in Austin about 10 years ago, I liked it. Was a lot like Sacramento (where I was living at the time), but better.

I co-op'd at AMD a couple winters back in Austin, was pretty great. N/S traffic is hilariously bad though, glad I didn't have to commute that way. My commute was ~5 minutes of spirited driving, mostly through parking lots and parking garages. Lots of parking out in Austin. Maybe 1-2 minutes on an actual road.

 o my god north/south traffic is fucking stupid
blame the city council (wtf consel lol) 30 years ago for fucking up our roads to keep people from coming
that worked brilliantly
going North in the morning is a breeze

going south or north at night is a nightmare unless you know less traveled, neighborhoody routes

NEVER get on I-35 through Austin EVER (even at 3am)
under any circumstance
ever.

Yea I read about how they planned it that way to keep the place small back in the day. Hilarious stuff. It's amazing how cheap the suburb property is out there. I could be a baller down in Austin.
