So who got Prototype today?

i'll call them up a little after 7 and see what's up

maybe i'll buy some of those dirty little shit-eaters some zimas or smirnoff ices in exchange for a copy

I don't feel good about the fact that the guy knew my name after just telling him the first 3 digits of my phone number. Apparently I'm the only person in Orland that buys video games post PS2.

I don't think I'll even pop this into the PS3 tonight. I'm just going to revel in the fact that I have it and Seth does not, made all the sweeter since I actually got to see him get denied for lack of a preorder.

i hope your ps3's drive spins out of control & shatters your game into a million pieces.

those fucking game stores make me ill being in at all, let alone the better part of an hour waiting for those little pissants to get their shit in

i too am w/o prototype

i don't care how bad it sucks, i'm fucking cutting helicopters in half with my sword hands and nothing is going to stop me

not even anti sword hand helicopter armor

SecureROM. Considering Razor1911 released it, you can assume it has a crack since they're not a clone group. They're a crack group.

aww fuck it. Ill just buy it on steam. Have to wait till 7pm tommorow but whatever. I dont want to fuck with cracks and shit.

edit: plus i cant find a download of just the crack. I want to BUY this game but really dont want to have to mess with cracks and waiting for the crack to update when there is a patch ect.

I've only played it for a couple of hours now, but it's definitely a lot of fun. The hardest thing for me to overcome is the differences in the controls between this and InFamous, because they're completely different. Traveling quickly in InFamous is all about precision, while this is all about charging up a fucking building at top speed all the while dragging a flopping/crying civilian around by his neck until you decide to brutally consume him or see how far out into Central Park you can throw him.

The game is much more brutal that I was expecting and I must say, I'm pleasantly surprised.

i was pretty pissed

the commercial on tv said available now

gamestop said tomorrow

fuckers i know you have it behind the desk, GIVE IT TO ME

A bit deeper into it now, and this game is fantastic. Just running around murdering people is fun enough, but add onto that the ability to do the same thing but in a tank...oh man, I wasn't interested in the tanks when I read the initial reviews, but goddamn is it fun to drive through the streets of New York in a tank.

The cars honk and try desperately to reverse out of your way, but they can't because it's New York and the streets are congested, so you just run over top of the poor bastards and giggle.

Maybe others have played games like Spiderman, so the novelty of demolishing a fairly accurate (I don't think Game Crazy really has a giant billboard in Times Square) representation of NY has worn off for them, but it's new to me, and it's fucking great.

I thought that I might have a hard time getting into this game because of how much I liked InFamous, but they really are two completely different games, and I think that playing InFamous first was a good idea. I say that because you feel much more powerful in this game. Don't get me wrong, I felt like death incarnate in InFamous, but this is just a whole other level of ass kicking.

Maybe I'm not far enough along, but another nice thing coming from InFamous, is that this game doesn't seem to have moral choices, not that it didn't work for InFamous, but here it's great that the entire world is against you and you can pretty much slaughter military, civilians, and infested without a care in the world.

I could type up an entire treatise on why this game is great just a few hours deep into it, but just trust me, play it for yourself. It's not perfect but it's fucking fun.
